Founded in 2023, I studied for over a year and a half for the online portion of my Certified Equine Massage Therapist exam and hundreds of hours of hands-on practice before receiving my certification at The Animal Rehab Institute in Loxahatchee, Florida.

My daughter Luna was the inspiration for starting Moon Glow Equine Massage Therapy. When Luna was 2 1/2, I started working a part-time barn job mucking out stalls, feeding, and doing turnout. Luna was beside me the entire way in a baby carrier or her stroller. Her joy and love of horses was instant. To see my daughter light up with pure adoration and have gentle kindness for these amazing creatures filled my heart with happiness. It was a true testament to my heart, and I instantly knew I needed a career involving horses. Having dealt with PPD (postpartum depression) after having my daughter horses were a shining beacon of light in my life. I knew I had to find a way to thank them as a sign of appreciation for all they did for me.

Horses have had a large impact on my life and have saved me time and time again. As soon as I learned that equine massage was an actual job, I instantly had to learn more.

My favorite thing about being an equine massage therapist is connecting with the horse to bring them healing and ease pain. When I’m able to visibly see them in a relaxed state, and letting go of tension and stress brings such joy to my heart. Becoming an equine massage therapist has been the most rewarding and humbling experience I could have ever made to pursue as a career. I am honored to always be a student of the horse and I am grateful to every horse and animal I get to place my hands on. Every horse has taught me something. I’m very excited to constantly be learning and taking more classes to broaden my knowledge and to be able to bring more techniques and healing to my clients.

My philosophy and the main inspiration behind my technique is the world-renowned Jack Meagher. Stress Point Therapy is such a wonderful modality to ease tension, and pain and release the fascia. I am always reading the energy of the horse by watching every single movement and expression. I also highly believe in and use the ancient meridian theories. Everything has a flow in balance and ways of being blocked. The Sumchi is a magnetic tool used during sessions that follow the Meridians. I could never complete a session without my Gua Sha tools and my Equi ball hot and cold massaged ball along with my magnetic Sumchi. My magic wand is my red light therapy device I use it throughout my session when I find spots that need some extra healing energy.
